Please can anyone help,
Joseph Marples born 1822 died 1884 in Sheffield.
had children called Sarah,Mary,Thomas,Mary,Elizabeth and Joseph,i believe that one of the Marys might have died the same year she was born .Josephs parents were called Thomas Marple 1784 and Elizabeth Taylor.Thomas was born in Baslow Derbyshire.all the rest was born in Sheffield. We think Joseph married Anne ? might be higgins not sure, can any one find out if this is the right lady thanks.This Anne died 26 october 1860 at 20 court edward street sheffield of gastor-enterick fever aged 35 the informant was Alathea lee.

Found Alethea Lee married to Edwin Lee living in Sheffield
1861 census but looked in surrounding streets and did not
find 20 Court, Edward Street to see who lives there.

Whilst I cannot improve on the excellent work done by other contributors to this Thread..as far as the Yorkshire/Sheffield information is concerned...I DO have the baslow parish registers, and any detailed info you may require about Marples/Marple heritage before they left for Yorkshire, I am happy to contribute......parents grandparents siblings
