Hi I am trying to find info on Charles William Knight born 1889 in Ilminster, Somerset. He might have changes his first and second name about....Hes my G grandfather, But I have no idea who he married. My Nan, His daughter was I think half Persian. and there is speculation that there might be a Persian princess maybe 1 or 2 generations back....I dont know if any of you great people can help but I am hopeful...

Sorry brummiejan I missed you.....I know my Grandmother was born Maureen Florence Margaret knight born 1928....And I thought she was born in Taunton Somerset, But cant seem to find her. She married a Norman Marx Madsen and they lived in Bishops Lydeard, Somerset.

My mother knew a little bit about her Grandfather From bits and peices from when my grandmother died, but no marraige. stupidly none of this was ask while anyone was alive to find out....

I have checked the actual images on the index for 1928 and 1st quarter of 1929 and cannot find her with those initials

You still need her marriage cert though - I am still lost as to why you are pursuing her father's name if you do not have this! It will also include his occupation, names of witnesses and hopefully an address for Maureen which might help.
