Yes I think I will need to get a marriage cert, but it does look like Harry's parents were William and Elizabeth and William worked on the Docks as did Harry. |

In the notes I have just found I had Harry's parents as Thomas Clements b.1833 Halestead Essex and Susannah (Sarah Ann) b.1823 Barking Essex???? Not too sure now considering Harry may have been born in 1858 or 1861 West Ham or Romford?? And Romford was just down the road from West Ham back in those days?? All very confusing?? |

It could well be the correct family as the Clements and the Stabucks did work on the Docks in London |

Hi Kath, no I haven't got a marriage cert for Martha and Joseph. Maybe I could get one just to make sure on Martha's father |

This looks like Martha in the 1901 census with her parents (the marriage certificate will confirm whether this is the right parents or not):- |

This from 1891, but you really need a copy of her marriage cert to confirm fathers name/occuaption |

Hello, I would be very grateful if anyone could help me find the family of Martha Clements born around 1885 from the West Ham area. Martha married Joseph Starbuck in 1905 in West Ham. I have researched the Clements side but am unsure if I have it all correct. Any help would be very much appreciated |
