Hi All,

I am rather confused and wondered if anyone can help.

I have pulled up the 1901 census for Arthur Shipman born 1896/ 1897. He has a father Reuben Shipman born 1861 and mother Ellen Beatrice Foster born 1872. Married 1893 in Bromley Kent

On the census Arthur Shipman is living with Sarah Boyde born 1848 and is listed as the Grandson. Niether Reuben or Ellen are listed on the census, but a Henry Foster is as a lodger born 1858.

I then looked at the previous 1891 census and found Reuben Shipman 1861 living with a son also called Reuben aged 1 year. I am trying to track down the relationship between the census records but cannot find any birth, death or other census records for Sarah Boyde and Henry Foster or Ellen Foster.
