Hi i'm trying to trace my great great grandad William Warrington, i know he was born 1848 in Yeldersley Derby and died 1917 in Biggin near Ashbourne Derbyshire. I know he was married to a Sarah Gould and had several children one being my great grandad John Henry Warrington. HOwever i can't find any trace of his parents in the census. I looked up his birth and it doesn't give his mother's maiden name or full name on the records so i'm stuck. I know he was born in Yeldersley as my great uncle who passed away 2 years ago told me this but he never spoke of it again as he said that he was brought up not to ask about the family. |

I don' think that Martha is William's mother. James and Martha may not have married until 1859. |

Wow that's really shocked me but i guess that's nothing new as my mum's family is very hard to trace on her dad's side and her mothers side |

It looks as though Sarah was his mother. He is badly mistranscribed in 1851 |

This is a possible marriage but you will need one of the children's birth certificates to confirm her maiden name |
