Hi,
I wondered if any one can help or point me in the right direction please.
Im looking for my Grandmother her name was Kate( liked to be called Kitty) maiden name Payne last married name Tuckett. Kate was born in Cardiff in 1916 and I know she had a brother called Trevor and a sister called Sylvia.
Kate married Jack Tuckett (R.A.F) in 1938 in Cardiff they had 3 boys Allan 1939, Jack 1946 and Kenneth1954. Sadly the marriage ended in the 1950's but I believe Kate remarried and may have had another son. I know nothing of Kate and I don't know where to look next or how I find out any info without knowing her other married name..... can anyone help me please.....

I can't see a marriage for a Kate Tuckett in England or Wales after 1950.

Not sure if you're interested, but I'm in Cardiff - there is one Tuckett in the present telephone directory and I have the 1970 Cardiff Kelly's Directory and there are four Tuckett's in that - let me know if you would like details

If you know Kate's exact DOB it may help in tracing a death record... this in turn may help with finding a second marriage.

There is possibly another son born in 1958 with 3 christians names, his first name Anthony.

Could this be the son you refer to??

EDIT>>>>>>>> this son was also registered under the mothers maiden name of Tuckett or Stanbury with his surname as Stanbury.
