Could someone please look for the details of two sisters Albina and Phyllis Brind both born Reading Berks in 1899 and 1900 arriving Sydney,and who they travelled with.

Both of them last known unmarried 1949 Queensland.

Thank you for that link. I tried it and when I entered Sydney Brind for WW1 it came up Number of matches 0.

I do know he died 5 August 1916 Queensland.

you can see his enlistment papers. They are very detailed.

When he enlisted Sidney was 18 years and 9 months, 5ft 71.4inch tall, weighed 130 pounds, blue eyes, brown hair. He also had a scar across his top lip and a birthmark on this right forearm.

It looks like Edward Ernest Partridge was married before also to a Marjorie Ina according to the 1943 electoral roll.and she must have died before 1949 as she is not with him on the 1949 electoral roll.

So he must have married Marjorie Gladys Brind between 1949 and 1954 as he is with Marjorie Gladys on the 1954 electoral roll.

I have just got to try and find that marriage now.

Alan, my mistake with the spelling of Sidney, it is spelt both ways on his Attestation papers. Glad that you have got his records, sadly, it shows that he was K.I.A. in France. The following site is the Commonwealth War Graves Commission

search records, it will show you that he is buried at Villers-Bretonneux Memoral, click on his name on the left hand side it will give you a few more details.

All Australians that were killed in World Wars are commerated on a wall in Canberra see

An interesting wedding was celebrated at St. James' Church on Wednesday evening last. The bride was Miss Marjorie Allison Levick, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Allison Levick, Westbrook, and the bridegroom Mr. E.E. Partridge (Sydney), eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. E.W. Partridge, London, England. Rev. Norman Osborn officiated, and the church organist (Mr. Lawrence) presided at the organ.
