I found it on anothr tree , but apparently it was Esther Willis

Linda - you need his birth and/or marriage certificate to confirm his father.

Never ever trust information on other people's trees unless they can prove their research by way of certificates, etc.

Linda, you need to start with what you know is correct and work backwards. Sooooo, if you care to post details of an ancestor that you know is correct then we can work backwards. But please don't post details of anyone who is still alive.
Then as MC says you will need to get certificates to confirm whether you are on the right track.
