I am seeking any confirmation I can get about my HAYWOOD family from Droitwich, England.

I have the following family history information that is puzzling:

Frederick W. Haywood was born June 9, 1836 in Droitwich, England to James Haywood and Charlotte Bruton. James and Charlotte had been married November 12, 1835 in Doverdale, Worcester, England .
Frederick was the eldest of 5 children (siblings: Louise, James, Eli, Millborough).

Frederick W. Haywood married Eleanor Green on May 11, 1856 in Birmingham, Warwick, England.
Frederick and Eleanor reportedly had the following 10 children:

- Lucy Charlotte Haywood; born Abt. April 04, 1858; died ?
- Marian Ellen Haywood; born October 1859; died ?
- Frederick William Haywood; born August 14, 1861; died November 15, 1939 in California USA
- Ernest Haywood; born Abt. April 26, 1863; died ?
- James Haywood; born Abt. November 27, 1864; died Abt. June 08, 1871 in St. Andrew, Droitwich, Worcester, England
- Rose Haywood; born May 08, 1868; died Abt. April 20, 1871 in St. Andrew, Droitwich, Worcester, England
- Arthur Ernest Haywood; born Abt. May 28, 1868; died Abt. May 27, 1871 in St. Andrew, Droitwich, Worcester, England
- Jessie Haywood; born Abt. May 08, 1870; died ? in Toronto, Canada
- Frank Haywood; born Abt. September 08, 1872; died April 12, 1936 in Missouri, USA
- Charles Richard Haywood; born November 09, 1874; died July 23, 1952 in Toronto, Canada

My biggest puzzle is the 5th, 6th, and 7th children (James, Rose, and Arthur Ernest) who all seem to have died within a couple of months in 1871. Could this possibly be true? And Rose and Arthur Ernest were reportedly born a few weeks apart.

Can anyone help confirm or refute these births?

(Although these deaths seem suspect, I have found weird things about these ancestors already.
I was previously puzzled why Frederick W. Haywood had reportedly died November 05, 1915 in Vaughan Township, Ontario, Canada; but wasn't buried until almost 3 months later on January 28, 1916 in Toronto, Canada.)
I subsequently learned that the elderly Frederick had wandered away from home, walked dozens of miles, and was found frozen to death in a ditch 3 months later.

Any help with the family would be much appreciated.

Highly likely for 3 siblings to die close together if poverty and illness doing the rounds.
Get the death certificates for further information?

It is possible that they all died around the same time - perhaps there was an outbreak of something that took them all?

The only way you could find out is to buy the death certificates to see what they died of.

On the 1871 census Arthur is 4 and Rose is 2.

Does the 1871 census show them all as part of the same family?

No sign of Frederick's wife, Eleanor Haywood in the 1881 census?
I know she arrived in Canada sometime after 1881 with the family, including the older kids..
