Ah I suspect that Richard Swales in 1881 should of been born in Stockton, County Durham c. 1842. Does this help?

I have to admit, i am a bit confused now as to who belongs to who!!

I can't seem to find Richard and Jane in the 1871 census with the children they seem to have in 1881!

Yes I agree - Richard Swales is a cousin of ancestor of mine and should be born c. 1842 in Stockton, County Durham BUT there are no others on the 1881.

Actually just realised these are also relations - can someone try and find this family in 1911, and work out who the two nephews are the children of from 1891?

Thank you - there is a death that could be James in 1904 but it is 'out' by a few years.

Can I ask for a look-up in the 1871/1891 for this family?

The 1901 i posted has Thomas born Richmond Yorkshire...........so not the correct one!
The phone rang before i had a chance to check out his birth. :-S
