Isaac is the father-in-law of James Squires's first cousin once removed.

So Isaac's child married the child of James Squires's parent's first cousin

... Isaac's child married James Squires's great-grandparent's great-grandchild

If we make up a family ...

James's Squires's father is Samuel Squires whose father is Herbert Squires whose father is Bill Squires

Bill Squires had a daughter Harriet Smith whose daughter is Sally Brown whose daughter is Jane Jones

Herbert and Harriet are brother and sister
Samuel and Sally are first cousins
James and Jane are first cousins once removed

........... Bill Squires .........
Herbert S ......... Harriet Smith
Samuel S ....... Sally Brown
James S .......... Jane Jones -- married Mr Field whose father was Isaac

Jane Jones married Isaac Field's son ( or maybe it was John Brown married Isaac Field's daughter )
James Squires is the second husband of the sister of the husband of the person who wrote the PM

yes, some people do put these things in their trees :-S

But I'd take the names out of the thread ... it was too late for me to volunteer to read the PM for you when I saw the thread :-)

I would never share my tree with anybody more distant than my own first cousin :-)

what you need to know is the name of the child of Isaac Field that James Squires's first cousin once removed married ! ... to see whether they really have gone wrong somewhere

it's possible, for instance the marriage was an Adam Field but it wasn't the Adam Field who was your Isaac's son ...

it was the person who PMed you first ? and did they want your tree ?

nah, they are not related to your family even -remotely- so no would do !
