Thank you I am in such a mess with this person I have marraige certificate for her married to a Wlter A Poole on that it says her father was a John Wilson. I don't know if she was married to a Wilkinson but she had a son Albert Wilkinson it says she was a widow when she married Walter A Poole.
on Walter A Pooles army papers she has written a letter to say that Walter had taken on her son I am all mixed up

Probably her hubby was killed in the war

Walter married Rose Wilkinson in the September qtr.
of 1918 Bethnal Green it says she is a widow and her fathers name John Wilson
bottle washer it says she was 33.
On Walter A Poole army papers one page is a letter about the son Albert
Wilkinson saying that Walter would be known as the father. I am afraid I ca't read the papers now as I have gone blind

But I can,t find a marraiage for Rose Wilson
but I do have everything on Walter A Poole

Margaret, I was posting possible deaths for the son Albert Ernest.

He may have used Poole as his surname or reverted to Albert Ernest Wilkinson

The death for Albert senior is probably on the CWGC site but there's loads of possible ones some of whom havent been claimed by family

Shirley I Walter A Poole was not his name his name was Albert Walter Poole born in 1889 in Edmonton Middlesex
I am sure about this as his army papers on ancestry give his
address 12 Tenby Road Walthamstow I know that is where he lived
