Ann died aged 6, Harriet married a GeorgePerry :-)

1871 census aged 4 living in Nook and "Scholar"
1881 census - not there.
Checked death records for 1871 - 1881, no sign of him. There is a George Gaskell died in Westhoughton, Bolton 1880 aged 14??? ref: WH/11/239. Will have to check again... Where does he go? ****STOP PRESS**** It may be THIS lad, NOT SURE --- Mining Accidents - GASKELL George

William Edward Evans was my great grandfather and he did indeed marry Edith.

And yes Vera, Edward Gaskell (my great great grandfather) married Ann Heyes, and Hannah Gaskell married John Parr so you are spot on! So this all ties in.

My difficulty is that I can't find any marriages for George, Harriet or Ann Gaskell.

I wondered if you could give me some information on my great grandmothers (Edith Gaskell born 1880 in Aspul, Lanashire) brother, George Gaskell born in 1867 in Shevington, Lancashire. I have nothing on George at all so anything would be helpful.
