Hi

I wonder if someone could give me the details from the 1841 census for:-

James BURLES born 1813 hopefully Essex

My James BURLS/BURLES born c 1808 Hatfield Broad Oak, Essex is missing from his family on the 1841 census so hoping this could be him.

Then could I also have the details from the 1851 Census for:-

Charlotte BURLS born 1813 hopefully Essex.

Charlotte is James' wife and again there is no James showing so want to see if he is with her on this one just mistranscribed.

Thanks

The 1861 details are definitely mine.

As for the 1841 I think that is the same as the 1851 posted but sadly not my family.

Thanks for looking though.

That is Charlotte and her eldest children on the 1841 but James the father was missing which is why I am trying to locate him elsewhere.

As I don't have the 1851 either it is hard to know where he could of been or if he was back with them by then.

Thanks

The 1851 for Dunmow/Hatfield is missing.

Yes Margee that looks like the one. It doesn't really give any clues as to whether that could be him or not.

Do you know what sort of house or building that they were living in was?

Thanks

Kim

I thought is was as kept drawing a blank to every possible way of searching. Do you know why this would be Maureen?

Kim, I know you've marked this as answered but I didn't answer the questions you asked re: the 1841 census.

The address is High St. but that group seems to start on the previous page where the address is (I think) "Black Lion". The first person is James Hammond, 35, victualler, then Mary Ann Hammond, 40, then the ones I listed previously, made up of their children, servants, ostler, horse keeper and ag labs.
