Hi I'm looking for some help. It has been a long time since I've been active on my family tree and I appear to have misslaid some of my reseach.
Can anyone help?

The Ancestor in question is this.

Caroline (I believe to be Browse, and I believe her father to be Phineese Browse and if I remember rightly he was in the Navy).

Caroline married George Polkinghorne, ( although records shoe several names but it is believed they are all the same lady).

1851 Census
Calenick Street, Kenwyn

George POLKINGHORNE, head, mar., 20, van carter, Truro
KATE do., wife, mar., 20, Devon Plymouth
Mary Jane do., daur, 1, Truro

14th July 1853 Kenwyn
George Polkinghorne, age 22, bachelor, labourer of Calenick Street (father = William Polkinghorne, tin man)
Caroline Ann Browse, age 21, spinster of Calenack Street (father = Phinees Browse, mariner)
Witnesses:- T G Hicks, Mary Mugford
This marriage is 3 years after the birth of Mary Jane

1861 Census
Bosvigo Lane, Kenwyn

Geo POLKINGHORNE, head, mar., 30, labourer, Truro
Caroline do., wife, mar., 35, Devon Plymouth
MARY J do., daur, 11, Truro
Willm do., son, 9, Truro
George do., son, 6, Truro
Bessie do., daur, 4, Truro
Charles do., son, 2, Truro

in 1881 the family is still at St Columb.
George's wife is CAROLINE again but now says she was born at Buckfastleigh, Devon about 1823.
And there is one further child - Lillie age 3 born St Columb.

1871 Census
26 Fore Street, St Columb Major

George POLKINGHORNE, head, mar., 46, groom, Truro
CATHERINE do., wife, mar., 45, Devon Plymouth
Wm H do., son, 18, tailor's apprentice, Truro
George do., son, 16, painter's apprentice, Truro
Bessie do., daur, 12, scholar, Truro
Charles do., son, 10, scholar, Truro
Frederick do., son, 8, scholar, Truro
James do., son, 6, scholar, Truro
Bertha do., daur., 4, scholar, St Columb
Edward do., son, 2, St Columb
This is obviously all the same family yet George has aged five years and Caroline's name is now Catherine!

Now I am looking for any information on Caroline and her father I have no idea where I found it any help would be great.
