If by chance it is the right family, there is a tree on Ancestry which gives William J, Emily and Ellen with parents..and William Search's father at least..only had a quick look. |

The Ellen and Emily living in Oxfordshire were born there, so not connected |

Most families had children from when they first married until they got to the age where it was not possable anymore, My gran had siblings 20+ years older than her being the youngest of the family |

You're very welcome Jillian - if you get any further info and we can help then just let us know. |

I'm not sure why you'd discount it because of the older children? from the 1911 it would appear that the eldest son stayed in Rochford but the girls were in Oxfordshire, ie that the family was split up after the death of the mother? |

I did try the Mundia link but it wouldn't even let me sign up. Will try again tomorrow if I get the chance. |

Thank you Rose. I have seen this family and discounted it because of the ages of the children already in the family; I hope to prove myself right or wrong. |

I hear what you say Tracey but I live in hope. My friend and I just began doing her tree yesterday. Maybe in the future but the expense of even one cert isn't an option right now. I have the GR Platinum but don't subscribe to any other sites but here so I have no idea if extra info is available elsewhere which is why I asked. If we can't find the parents via the internet so be it. We are doing her tree for fun only, same as I do mine. We've been through the mill together so not being able to find any further back for now isn't important in the scheme of things. Take care.J |

Hi it was confusing because you have put the surname in the post as "Learch"... for those births the name is 'Search' |

Thanks for this. I'm going to assume that the person on Ancestry has the wrong Grace or wrong dob as my Grace had her birth registered Mar 1902. |

Sadly, even if we speculated on their parents, you will still need to get the certs to prove it. |

There's a tree on Ancestry has Alice Grace's birth as 8 Jan 1900 but I can't see her on 1901 census. |

Tried putting 'Search' into the seach field and pages went haywire constantly flicking over saying results shortly. So apologies if there is a possible thread from someone on this but I can't get it. |
