Unfortuanately there is more than one marriage registered for a Harry Marson.

If you know when he died, you could purchase the death cert to see who the informant was.........maybe a child or his wife.

It may have been Lily Baker in 1917. or Sarah A Timmins in 1921. Do any of these names ring a bell with anybody?

I was told recently that Harry married a Polly??Daughters names,Nancy and a ElizabethCannot find any connection there..
Im wondering if Harry had a twin,Sarah Ellen Wheat Marson/Marsden.She did have a brother of same name.Sarah was born 1894 StaffordshireThe cert.of Sarah does not mention this, but I dont think they do..
Would luv to try and trace any living family members of Harry.
Think getting the death cert. would give me the info i need. :-)

Birth certificates for twins usually show the fact by the TIME of birth being put on the certificate.

It is not usual to have the time on the birth certificate for a singleton .... although it does happen occasionally.

But you will see ...................

a) two birth registrations under the same surname next to one another on that freebmd site that Gins gave you.

b) on buying the certificate, you will see that there is a time of birth in addition to the date of birth.

Perhaps the name Polly was Lily?Think i will get the death cert.of Harry and take it from there and if i get Harrys birth cert.it will say the date and see if it matches up with Sarahs.

I see LindaB is researching Faulkner??My grandfather was Philip Faulkner born in Salford married to Sarah !! :-)

Polly could just have been a nickname ......... and her real name anything!
