Does your friend remember any aunts & uncles?

You must consider the possiblity that the mother didn't marry Frank as Thackray............she could have been married before. There is a possible sibling birth in 1930, and the people married in 1900 would have been in their 50's by then

WW1 left a lot of young widows.............

she said they had children called annie.. Selina born c1930 and nipton c1933 all born sheffield
