Hello,
I'm looking for any info on John Wade and his wives.
John was born c1795 in Hemsworth/South Kirby area of Yorkshire, and died in1878 in the same place.
I believe he was married twice. Mary (c1800 Monk Fryston -1857 Hemsworth) and Sarah (Day at marriage. Her father's name was John Worn) Born c1798 in Staffordshire, Newcastle under Lyme, according to the 1871 census. I cannot find her death date.

I don't think this is the right marriage record, Kirby Overblow is not in the same area of Yorkshire.

The John (as grandson) in the 1851 census is the son of Robert(b1822). Robert and his wife Elizabeth had moved to West Ardsley nr Leeds by 1851, taking 2 small children. So John must've been looked after by his grandparents.

Maybe someone with the West Yorkshire marriages and Banns on Ancestry will take a look for you and see if they can find the correct marriage.
I realise Kirkby Overblow is North Yorkshire and out of their area but we don't know where they were working when they married so there is always a chance that a marriage could have been held in another district.
