Bummer, no specialised occupation that would've helped us find him. |

Sorry about the confusion. I have Frank and Mable's marriage cert, which says that Franks father, Frederick Charles was a blacksmith in 1916, when Frank and Mable married. the only frederick Charles with a Frank the right age, I could find (in 1901 census) was born in brighton. I do remember Paddington being mentioned a lot when I was a child, but my parents weren't together for long. |

Yes, I thought so too, Astra, but then I wondered how Wendy knew he was born in Brighton. |

Who was born in Brighton, Frank or Frederick and who was a blacksmith? If Frederick was born in Brighton how do you know that? What other info have you got? |

If this is the same Charles F in 1901 it probably isn't the right one? According to the 1911 they had no children |

I am trying to find my Grandfather and g grandfather. Grandfather was Frank Taylor, who at the time of his marriage 1/1/1916 (in Reading Berks, where they lived later) was stationed at Cambridge Barracks, Plymouth. His wife was Mable Freak (lots of info on Mable) His father Frederick Charles is listed as a blacksmith, and was born in Brighton. I can find no other references and am not sure which Frank is 'mine' Hope someone can help Please :-( |
