I think Yvonne is waiting for the marriage cert.

Where she married is no indication at all as to where she was born

As already suggested the marriage cert is required to give some idea of her age at marriage

Yvonne, as asked on the other thread, when and where did Lora die? Her death registration will give some indication of when she was born.

This is also on General, where there are now some posts,
Yvonne we need to know when Lora died, I can see the marriage on records, but need a rough age for Lora ( who I suspect may be Laura?)

You may need to get the marriage cert to give you more info about her to help confirm a birth

No lora had passed away....she would have been from Lancashire as thats where she married and had her child / children

Do you have a birth year and place at all? Is Lora still living, if not, do you have a death year?

Wonder if anyone can help! I am looking for the Birth of Lora daley......I have limited information and can only confirm her marriage to Hugh Williams in 1957, and the birth of her son Giles in 1962. Can anyone suggest where I can look. Its really stumped me has this one! Her son Giles seems to recall there being a problem at the registration of his or her birth, something with names!!!! ive looked into the various ways of spelling but nothing!
