Please could anyone find me my thomas duxbury on the 1841 census. He is age 31 in 1851 in oswaldtwistel. Married around 1844 in oswaldtwistel to ann nee hurst/hirst. Father john . Says born Rishton, but not certain about that. Not sure of his mums name, could be betty. Could live Great harwood, rishton or oswaldtwistel in 1841. |

thanks mary, wondering where this tree information has come from. tha nks though. Wonder how they managed to discover that, peter duxbury and people who continue his work and others have been trying for years to find this info. I will check it , thanks again. Does it say where john and ann nancy manley were married?? And where john was born in 1793? Yes, the fairburn info is correct, . We have always struggled with the early stuff, johns wifes name and who actually was this john etc. |

yes, thanks for that ann, thats the one i think those trees must mean. But as you say, there are so many johns for the time period and area that its impossible to find the right one. And having the names john and thomas does not help at all. |
