Thats true Ozibird .I did notice the big gaps in the births and wondered !!

Also the difference in age between the 3 girls points to the possibility of 3 different fathers.

What happened to Eliza?

Theres no fathers listed either on the baptism records. sometimes the vicar insisted on a fathers name and would list it in the record,in this case none listed.

But maybe just to save face.

Checking the girl's birth certs is best option.

What area are we looking at please?

I am trying to find the husband and father, all that is on the census's etc is The mother and her daughters, apart from the 1841 census when they are living in a property which seems to be a family of Wilmott's.

The Mother is Mary 'Unknown' BC 1812 and she is a Charwoman. The father is obviously a Gale or maybe Mary is a 'Gale' and the children have her Surname as the children were illegitimate.

The daughters are Eliza Gale BC 1833, Clara Gale BC 1839 and Rhoda Gale BC 1846 who was my G G Grandmother.

Ive been on Free BMD and Searching through here.

This has baffled me beyond belief so any help from you experienced people would be fantastic.
