I assume you believe her to have been alive when Richard died?

Hello I am trying to find my real great granmothers death record?
My grandad Edgar Massey was adopted by the downing family as his dad Richard Massey passed away of T.B in 1931. His wife was Louisa Perkin born 1895 in Stone,Staffs. I have looked on the genes death index from 1930 to 1985 and there is nothing in stone, Stoke or Stafford that matches her.
I have found a Louisa Massey in 1931 who was 48 and in Manchester, a Lousia Massey 70 1965 in Middleton and a louisa massey 72 in 1967 in Ormskirk? Just none near ware she was living in 1931? I know she could of remaried but there is nothing to say this either? Hope some one can help! Thanks.
