If the 1937 marriage was Robert's second marriage, then there is also the possiblility that it was also Elsie's second marriage.

There is a James Hacking who married an Elsie Ainsworth in 1915 so this Elsie could very well have been born around the correct time, and checking on freebmd there are several possible births.

Marriages Dec 1915 (>99%)
Ainsworth Elsie Hacking Blackburn 8e 1029
Hacking James Ainsworth Blackburn 8e 1029

.............but it's still only guess work without that dratted cert.

Thanks. you are right. I will tell them. its in my tree but im not the close family, and they have got a couple of things wrong .
