Find Ancestors

Just been on Sp and found a Rupert Sabin, I knew it wasn't him but downloaded the BC out of curiosty to see who father was, but not anyone from this family.

Back to the drawing board. lol

Brummiejean, I will certainly check scotland census, I live in Scotland, and it never crossed my mind to try here James could be a brother of Rupert's father, because, I think there was a James in his family.

No I haven't contacted anyone Patchem, but I will try that.

I need to go through all the info I have as I am getting mixed up with which generation is which.

Never thought about looking for him in Scotland, see what I mean about thinking outside the box, I have a lot to learn.

Thanks for the info Mike about Noah's brother, I had Noah marriage, but that didnt tell me how old he was, I was just using Ancestry BMD, and I didnt know he had a brother so thanks again.

I think you might be right about Rupert going abroad, i can't think of any other reason he is not showing up.

I will check out the public tree's to see what they have.

Have you considered looking at Scotland? I know it might sound a bit off-centre, but according to an Ancestry tree his sister and her husband died there 1967 and 1943 respectively.

And found this family, wondered if there is a connection - James senior born Warwickshire, looking at previous census..

He is on several public trees on ancestry, but not after 1901.

Mike, looking at that marriage record does it look as if Noah and a brother marry two sisters ????.

I have Noah on 1841 census and he is a 13 yr old servant, so he must have married at 19 yrs old.

On that 1881 census Mike it says " Robert " but someone must have sent in a correction on Ancestry and it says Rupert
