Hi,
I'm trying to find a death for Thomas Woolcott b 1857 Hackney.
On the 1901 census he lived with his wife Louise and children at Vyner Street. On the 1911 census Louise, a widow was married to William George Gilkes, they had been married in 1909 and lived at 121 Gethnal Green Road.
I have looked on the bmd's but can't find a death.
Can anyone help please.
Ann.

There is no obvious birth in London in 1845 to match that death.

I've found Thomas Culverwell Woolcott on the 1901 and he's a different chap altogether.

I've had a look at the image and the figure for the age of the Thomas that died in 1907 is very poor. Say, his age was 52 it would be spot on! Could it have been mistranscribed?

yes of course,
I thought my lateral thinking was improving, but I am learning all the time.
Thank you
