1861 Census
St Margarets, Westminster
Westminster
RG09 piece 53 folio 157a page 22 b

(not sure if this is the York Place on 1857 Baptism, surnames on page missing where number 19 is, can't place above on Ancestry, they had probably moved anyway, but thought worth a check!)

Hi Vera

OMG!!!! You are an absolute angel - I have never been able to find anything for Emily's family at all including her dad Robert and it looks as though you may have found him - the marriage certificate I have for Emily confirms her dad as a Bricklayer!!!

I am so excited :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

Thank you so much

Vera

Middy,
I don't want to rain on your parade...but cannot find Robert after 1881.... as for Ellen and Emily....where are you????? Remember sometimes what is written on certificates may not be the truth.
Chris has found a family in Westminster the page is torn .

Hi Vera

Think I got too excited too quick - the Robert on the 1881 Census can't be Emily and Ellen's dad as they were born 1857 and 1868 respectively - such a shame

No, Vera I appreciate all your help with this - you never know that Robert could still be a close relation to Emily and Ellen I may be able to link him in somewhere.

Honestly thank you so much for all your help.
