	Also there is an Edward molloy in an institution although his occupation does not match how do you find out how someone went to jail for ?

	How would you find out why someone went to jail...and when they were released 1901 census Name: Edward Molloy Age: 40 Estimated Birth Year: abt 1861 Relation: Prisoner Gender: Male Where born: Ireland Civil parish: North Manchester Ecclesiastical parish: St Albans County/Island: Lancashire Country England Registration district: Prestwich Sub-registration district: Cheetham ED, institution, or vessel: His Majestys Prison The occupation is Bricklayers Lab and it states he is married.

	There used to be a site called the 'blacksheep index' but it seems to be out of action at the moment. I looked in the Manchester Guardian for him but nothing reported I am afraid. Will keep looking. Dea x
