You're right as usual Reggie! Grace and George didn't have any children! I think I used the word 'more' a bit loosely to differentiate between being too old and not being able to (if that was the reason). Interesting that they went to Canada, I wonder why, and for how long? More research to do! I do like to find out what people did with their lives, rather than just knowing their dates of birth/baptism, marriage and death, and occupation and where they were living on Census day. :-)

Interesting info about marriage and children in India. I wonder what happened to them? Obviously Robert was free to marry Grace North in 1931, after her husband has passed away, and she was too old then to have any more children. Robert is not a key person in my tree, and is not related in any way, but it's great to find out about someone with a slightly more unusual life! Makes a change from all the 'Ag Labs'!
Thanks also for info on Scottish records. This is the first time I've found a Scottish link in my tree, but I may find more - you never know! ;-)

I have a Robert S Paul, who married Grace Faull North in 1931 in Weymouth. It was a second marriage for Grace, don't know about Robert. I have records of their deaths, but wondered if someone could find a birth/baptism record for Robert please? I have found a Robert S Paul living in Partick, Lanarkshire on the 1871 Census, and 'assume' it's the same person. :-|
