edgar danks 1894c bromsgrove/redditch married lilian ireson what i seek is did edgar have a brother ernest.

edgars father was Arthur danks 1869 and his mother was elizabeth hopcraft 1870c i cannot find all of their children any help gratefully recieved.
as an after thought ernest could well have been a cousin////////////

edgar danks 1894 m lilian ireson 1888.
they had a daughter marion danks 1920
earlier lillian had a son gilbert 1913 by what i believe to be another danks ernest. i thought they were bros but with the info that u have sent me maybe i have the wrong parents, as i have all of the hopcraft family to match with a father arthur danks 1869 married to elizabeth hopcraft 1870 she died he then married a lucy stokes..
all lived in the area of redditch, bromsgrove worcestershire

thank you i know the correct marion danks 1920 and gilbert1913 Bromsgrove as they are people i have met in the past so they are correct. I have looked for briths on the said info but they do not give parents so with out help i am stuck, I am begining to to think that i have the wrong parents as i have albert danks and elizabeth hopcraft and it looks as if they might be joseph and sarah remains to find out which of those two were the parents of ernest and edgar. I remember being told the story about edgar and ernest being brothers many years ago perhaps .this is where i have gone wrong gilbert i know was born out of wedlock by ernest danks which is why his mother lilian kept his name ireson she then married edgar danks and marion was born to them. hope this might help in the search grateful chris

The marriage certificate of Lilian Ireson and Edgar will confirm his father's name. that is the first step.

EDITED, deleted a possible marriage as there is another Ernest Danks.

There won't be a father named on this cert so how do you know he was a Danks son ?

gilbert was born out of wedlock and so remained ireson where as his sister marion was born in wedlock and so had the name danks
gilbert was fathered by ernest danks and his sister marion was fathered by his brother edgar, these were my close relatives, what i still dont know is did
lilian marry edgar danks born 1892 or edgar danks born 1894 this remains a mystery as i think they also were cousins?

You will never know unless you get the marriage cert.
