Groom's Name: Thos. Copeman |

If you have Thomas's baptism, then you should have his parents' names on that record. |

There are 3 Thomas Copeman deaths in the right time frame. How do you know which one is his? Have you bought the death cert? |

Thanks Janice - it's Thomas' parents names I'm really after...will death cert have these on? |

I, also, don't see how you could have his baptism without his parents' names? |

If the 1851 is him, a member called Catherine has him in her tree - is that you?? |

Yes, this is him - apologies it was an estimated birth date based on the 1841 census record - I hadn't looked up the 1851 record - didn't realise it included place of birth... |

All census reports after 1841 have birthplace. These do get messed up from time to time though so just be aware! |

1841 ages are rounded down to multiples of 5 so not good to use that one. |

...still can't find a birth record in the parish records though and therefore no parents names. |

Thanks for everyone for your help so far. |

Not sure what else to suggest. If you were local you might trawl through parish records in person - not sure how many churches there were in Boston at the time!! |

This is the only Copeman family in Boston in 1851 and it looks like a brother from the ages. |

Wonder if this is John's christening? Is Blyborough near Boston? |
