	Hannah is my 4xGreat-mother, Mike. George and Hannah had their first child in Gedling. Ann Elliiott born c1793 in Gedling married Thomas Thornton in 1823 in Whatton. Elizabeth Elliott born 1806 in Muston married Benjamin Mellors in 1829 in Kneeton. These are my 3xGreat-Grandparents and 2 of their children are with Ann and Thomas Thornton in 1841. Traced William on the Census collection when I had a sub, just can't find Thomas or James.

Australian Convict Transportation Registers – Other Fleets & Ships, 1791-1868 about John Shipley Name: John Shipley alias James Shipley alias [James Elliott] Vessel: Manlius Convicted Date: 19 Jul 1826 Voyage Date: 11 Apr 1827 Colony: New South Wales Place of Conviction: Leicester, Leicestershire, England There are other James Elliotts emigrating or being sent to Canada and Australia, but this is the only one to mention Leicestershire.
