On Marriage cert William was a private in the light infantry. Alice was living in Newfoundland Rd. Her deceased father' was a bootmaker. |

Yes sorry ...Both fathers deceased. William's family obviously named two children William!! Thanks for all help so far. I have been unable to find a marriage for Thomas Allen and Annie so had wondered if they were born outside Bristol. |

The 1911 census says that Annie had been married 28 years, with 9 live births, of who 3 had died. So assuming they did marry, it would be about 1883 |

Thanks thats very helpful . Date of birth came from Famiysearch.org which also gave his christening date and parents. |
