Please can you help I am trying to find a Family by the name of Speakes from Whitchurch, Shropshire.
They are John b 1867 father
Ann b 1862 mother
John Edward b 1887 Whitchurch,
I am trying to find out if all the family left Shropshire for Lancashire
Any help would be appreciated

In 1891, John (24), Ann (28) nee Howell, son John E (3), and daughter Fanny (1) are at 28 Claypit Street, Whitchurch. Surname spelled Speke.
In 1901, John (35), Annie (39), son John E (14), daughter Fanny (11), son Albert (6) born Wigan Lancs., son Herbert (2) born Tonge Bolton, are living in Tonge, Bolton. Surname Speaks. Herbert's full name is Joseph Herbert. I can't find any trace of him after that, not in censuses, marriages, or deaths.
In the 1911 census, John (44), Annie (46), daughter Fanny (21) and son Albert (16), are living at 27 Smethurst Road, Bolton, Lancs.
Surname Speakes.
Also in 1911, the son John Edward(23) is at 67 Oak St., Bolton, with his wife Harriet Jane (24) nee Speakman, and daughter Fanny (1) born Bolton. Harriet's father Thomas James Speakman (51) is also living with them. Surname Speakes.
So, assuming Joseph Herbert died young, I would say that yes, they all moved to Lancashire.
