I have come across a coffin plate placed on the wall of the crypt of St. Clement Danes Church in London, and wondered how I might find further information about him. |

Is there somewhere I can find him in a list of clergy in this time period such as Crockfords etc.? |

A tree on Ancestry has his as John Samuel Rawlinson, with that death date. Gives dob of 17/12/1795, marriage to Anne Hawkins 23/12/1823 but does not give locations or any evidence to back it up. Parents, according to the tree were Thomas (1751-1802 Yealand, Lancaster) and Sarah Cowell 1754 (Leeds, Kent) - 1798 (Lancaster) |

According to the 1861 census, Anne Eliza married Horatio T Austin at some point after Rev R's death. No record of this on FreeBMD, so maybe they married abroad, as the Austin family were Royal Navy people. |

You may want to check out the parish for Yealand Conyers as it doesn't go back that far, but would come under another parent parish which should hold the records. Maybe Lancaster, but it is actually between Carnforth and Beetham, both of which have really old parish records. |
