:-) I am wanting information about particular Johnsons who were born in the 14th to the 18th Centuries. Some were born in Lincolnshire, some in Rutland and some in Kent etc.
David 1312 - 1350, Rubin 1335 - 1398, Daniel 1385 - 1470, Ira 1410 - 1455, Ira 1434 - 1478, Ira 1455 - 1500, Maurice RE, 1500 - 1557, Archdeacon 1540 - 1628, Abraham 1577 - 1625, Robert 1613 - 1661, Robert 1638 - 1669, Robert 1674 - 1718.
Does anyone know of these people?
With kind regards from Florence :-)

My - you are fortunate to get back so far, half of them earlier than most parish records. Presumably you have managed to trace back via various original sources? It is so easy to take a wrong turn. Even submitted trees on Familysearch, Ancestry or here could have errors

Your best bet is to use the search tree function on this site to see it anyone else has them listed.

How have you worked back so far?

Have you proved your links to all of the people you name?

As their birthplaces were so widely spread, what leads you to think that they are inter-connected?

Thank you DetEcTive and Reggie.
The reason I am after information is because I have found the names on Trees (in Ancestry.com) belonging to connecting members of my family. They do not have any confirming original sources except for a particular unpublished Johnson Family History written in the early 1900's by a Paul Johnson Slate (American).

I have emailed some of the people about the whereabouts of the book and validity of the information and am awaiting replies. I have also put the names into my Tree to see if I get any matches. :-) :-)

that's about as much as you can do for now..........

But do bear in mind the unreliability of the majority of Ancestry trees..........

Archdeacon Robert Johnson and his Dad, Maurice Johnson MP are both mentioned online. If you put their name in your search engine you should find lots of information on them, and the family with references.

Thank you Reggie and Alemap. Yes I have done that and there is good information sbout them. However, so far I cannot connect them to anyone on my tree. I will persevere.
