	You can order certs here: http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/ They cost £9.25 if you follow the details and put in the year, quarter and reference numbers. Other sites may charge a LOT more !!! The cert would not give his birth date but should give his age and hopefully his father's details (if he knew them). Dea x

	Hello Dea sorry I go the date a year out. I would hazard a guess he was born between 1910 and 1925 very vague I know but I am pretty sure he must be within those dates where would I send to for a marriage cert this would give his birth date I think regards Keith x

	Hello thank you sorry for late reply..he was born in Golborne or Newton in Lancashire his name was William Brookes know he married a Margaret Moon in 1941 and he was in or visited Warrington in 1967 know he then divorced and later remarried and moved to Coventry that is all the information I have on him apart from a photo I know it is like looking for a needle in a haystack but thank you for any help or guidance regards Keith

	If you know when he was born....................post the details. We can look on one of the subscription sites...unless you are a subscriber, in which case, just put in the name and birth year...............

	If you'd like to post his name, people will take a look for you. If you know middle names or exact birthdate that will help too. Sorry You were asking how to search. This information is probably only available on a subscription site. You could try putting the name into a Google search incase someone has posted it somewhere. eg. a newspaper obituary. Gwyn

	If you can post some details as deaths online go up to 2005 on a lot of websites

	Hello can anybody guide me on how to search for a persons death he died in Coventry but do not know his death date free bmd records only go up to about late 60s I know he died after that thank you Keith
