for your information james skit b oldfield staffs 1870 marr ellen skit b1872 whitwood.castleford 1892 they had 14 children about 3/4 died young 1 died WW1
an one died hicksons factory explosion 1930 ish Castleford and one of them ghildren maud/molly b 1911 is my mum in law [WAS] I have bee told by some of mollys brother/sisters[all dead now ] that james skit was a Castleford counciler
but I know one thing that came from some of his children he was a drunk, bully, wife beater
