can anyone help find what happened to the above child born in 1845 in burnley lancashire to smith smith and mary salmon. I cant seem tofind a marriage or a death for him. Could anyone see if he was on any of the census, maybe 1851 or 1861 ?

oh dear,,that explains it then....think as far as can tell, only hannah , my relative made it to marriage age ,,,surviving until 1921 ...cant find marriages for the other children . thanks for that. i found smith smith burial in 1862 and wife same year a month before , relatively young for even those days., possibly both had same illness perhaps .
hannah had two marriages but only two of her four children lived long enough to marry , abel duxbury and pathinea. abel was the only one who survived past middle age . :-S

just discovered that elizabeth, hannah and cain aldemus smith,s sister did marry, to a joseph poulton in 1864. Jpseph diedin 1878. Just wondering what happened to elizabeth smith/poulton after this? cant find a death or marriage . :-)
