	William was born on the 8th September, 1897. He died on 18 October, 1971. His wife died on 1st August, 1985. In her obituary he is described as William Edward Robinson M M. However I cannot find him on the London Gazette website. Can anyone else find him please.

	Many thanks everyone for your help. All the details given are the person I am following. The MM after his name was on the paper death announcement of his wife Nellie. I do not have his service number. I only had the MM after his name. I looked in the local paper for a report after his death without success.
