Please can someone see if they can find a birth for Hugh C. Mackie. He was born around 1933 in Aberdeen area. He died in 1977 in Greenwich London. Unfortunately this is all we have to go on.

Thanks

Jane

You can look it up yourself Jane on Scotlands People website

It isn't a subs site but you can do a free search

For that birth date you would have to purchase the cert through them

Believe they are £12

Both those births are in Aberdeenshire. It may be that they are both for the same person. At that time if the baby was born in a hospital, the birth was sometimes recorded in the registration district of the hospital and in the registration district of the mother's usual residence.

If that is the case, you only need to order one of the certificates as the information will be the same on both.
