Find Ancestors

I am researching the Watson family name born in Irvine, Ayrshire.
There is a tree on Ancestry ,’SMITH TREE ‘ which lists a James Watson born 1788 who married a Helen Gilmour, it shows a son of the marriage as Thomas Wylie Watson b 3 rd May 1825 in Irvine Ayrshire who married a Boyd and resulted in a son Thomas Watson born 2nd March 1863 in Scotland,
I do not have a world wide subscription, so I was wondering if any one out there could have a look at the tree and any other which may have same info to see if there are any ,facts or sound basis for above line. I have tried messaging the tree owner but to date have not rec’d a reply.

Are we to assume that Thomas Watson is thought to have emigrated?

Sorry for not posting enough info, Yes from the info on the said tree it appears he emigrated and subsequently married a Alfretta “Allie” Metzger.
I have tried family search, I believe that James is a relative of mine and that he married Helen Gilmour, I have doubts that Thomas Wylie Watson is the right link on the said tree.

I don't see where the tree owner gets the middle name Wyllie - no sign of that on any record, as far as I can see.

The tree's not totally accurate in any case - it shows a Thomas, born 1825 Scotland, living in Bishop Monkwearmouth in 1881, with sons William, Thomas and John - but I think, from other censuses, that he's a different Thomas, who had been married to a Mary Murray, and came from Wigtownshire.
