Chris :)

Richard Aislabie...

In about 1798 Aislabie married Elizabeth Malkin from Clowne, near Chesterfield, in Derbyshire. Between 1799 and October 1807 they baptised no less than seven children in Clowne...

...After her husband's death Elizabeth stayed in Kirkby Stephen until at least 1822. What became of her thereafter is as yet unknown. Her daughter Elizabeth married Thomas Race, a miller, in Kirkby Stephen in 1835. They had several children and Thomas plied his trade locally at Stenkrith Mill. The other surviving daughter Jane married John Loadman, a miner, in Kirkby Stephen in 1841...

I know you said you only wanted the 1841 census but I found this which you might not have?

02 May 1835 - Kendal Mercury - Kendal, Westmorland, England:
Marriage: At Kirkby Stephen, on the 22nd ult., Mr Thomas Race, miller, Alwant Mill, near Staindrop, in the county of Durham, to .Miss Elizabeth Aislabie, of Kirkby Stephen.

It seems to confirm that ErikaH's marriage find above is the correct one for 'your' Thomas, though she appears to have a slightly different middle name on her baptism:

England & Wales, Christening Index, 1530-1980No Image

Name: Elizabeth Malkin Aislabie
Gender: Female
Christening Date: 7 Mar 1811
Christening Place: Kirkby Stephen, Westmorland, England
