Looking for info on Capt;Josiah Pryce (East India Company) b 1754 died 1810, also his siblings & his parents, then back to the 1600s

By googling
Asiatic Journal V12 comes up. A BMD section shows -
"October 22 1821 - death - At Poplar, Catherine, the widow of the late Capt. Josiah Pryce, many years in the Hon. East India Company's Service"

East Indiaman

Royal Charlotte was the first vessel built by Thomas Pitcher at Northfleet.[4] A good model of her is in Northfleet Church.

Josiah Pryce, who was her captain for both her journeys to the Far East, seems to have been a thoroughly unpleasant and cruel person.[5]

It goes on to describe both of those journeys and gives the references used.

Kath has already posted this possibility for his parents marriage, but without the place of the marriage - St Botolph is the same Church as Josiah and Catherine married at in 1783
