Find Ancestors

After many hours trying to expand my earlier ancestors, Charles Meads born 1850 in Godstone, Surrey to Peter and Mary Ann Brooker appears in all the subsequent census' with "Sarah", who it seems, was born local to Charles.
I expected to find them married locally, but cannot find any information of Sarah's surname or their marriage location. One record says 1872, with subsequent children Peter1874, William1877 and Frederick Charles1879, who married Daisy Sale. Their child is shown as "Guiricia"1907 (or Gertrude Ruby), born in Finchley, Barnet, Middlesex, with Frederick's parents in the 1911 census.
As some information has had me going around in circles I'm looking fo help please.
