WHY did you 'review' my post which resolved your query on the following thread. |

Because, Erika, that was the census record that you emphasised in your other thread reply as Harriot being a typo of Charlotte. With this being so, you will note, from this 1841 census record that you referred to that Thomas is listed and so is William (Willer): |

Hi Maddie, that would not be the John but thanks - This John was born to Charlotte and John but thank you for the other information there. |

Erika - review? I was just checking it out to see that it added up for myself as I had initially added these children and something had made me doubt it so I had deleted them. I was going to come back on it but I wanted to add the children and then make sure the records added up for the children - I take your point that the census is barely legible and therefore that the Transcriber has misinterpreted it but I also questionned it on the basis that a number of the children are not specified as Son or daughter in the census that you have pointed to whereas a number of them are. I wondered if they took some nieces or nephews in. You have one birth shortly before Charlotte was 50. I appreciate these days that that is more likely to go well but in Victorian times I would have thought that would have lessened the possibility significantly. |

To find what happened to Jane, look for death or marriage on freebmd |

Every single one of the 10 family trees have concluded that this Thomas (who married Jane Ladbrook)'s parents were actually Elizabeth Drake and Thomas Bailey as opposed to Charlotte Hardiman and John Bailey. Jane Ladbrook and Thomas emigrated to Canada. |

Phew, moving on! I'll let people reading this thread draw their own conclusions rather than getting into the semantics of keyboard warriors. |
