Added: as you have his children’s details from his Wikipedia page you can now use the GRO ( if born in England/Wales) to find the surnames of the mothers.

He didn’t die in Plymouth……or anywhere else in England/Wales

I recall, as a child, my father saying Robert (Bob) Jacks was an uncle to my mother. Bob Jacks was a footballer - Manager (one team he managed was Plymouth Argyle). I am aware he was born in Alloa 4 April 1896 & wikipaedia shows he died 6 May 1943. My family are from Plymouth -I am assuming he married in Plymouth. If he was my mums uncle, I have a feeling he may have married my grandmother’s sister? My grandmothers maiden name was Witheridge. Wikaepedia shows his two children but not his spouse’s name. Can anyone help please?
