That child had an older brother, born 1950.

Their parents were Friedrich and Edna, married in Manchester in 1948.

Have you done ANY research?
In which part of the world was the daughter born?

Through what channel was the attempted contact? When?

The man who married in 1935 was naturalised in 1955……..his wife in 1948 - she may have re-married in 1966 - OR have died in 1981

Welcome to the boards, Lorraine.

As you've given very little information, I apologise if I'm saying the wrong thing here.

Do you mean a daughter born out of wedlock?
If so, her birth is probably registered under her mother's name, and if so, unless you know the mother's name, there is no way to pinpoint her birth.

Or do you possibly know the daughter's name from when she tried contacting the family?

If Werner was the man mentioned in Alviegal's post above, the daughter could have been born anywhere..
Are you assuming (or know) that she was born in the UK?

Any info on a daughter born to Werner Eichhorn probably in 1950's. May have connection to London Uni Oriental and African studies. She did once try to contact the family but it was unfortunately not followed up.
