The family of BURNS come from DEVON and PORTSMOUTH areas. Specifically STOKE DAMEREL, plymouth and EASTNEY, hampshire. They often have LAMBERT as a middle or hyphenated surname, (though this may only be recent geneations.) So far I have: THOMAS BURNS - c1824 Thomas' kids were: JOHN BURNS - c1844 john's kids were: MARGEY BURNS - 1867 (in Plymouth) HARRY BURNS - 1871 (in hampshire) JOHN BURNS - 1873 (in hampshire) (married ALMA MARY HILLMAN in 1901) ALICE BURNS - 1875 (in hampshire) WILLIAM BURNS - 1879 (in hampshire) Please contact me if you recognise any of this information. The smallest scrap of info will be most gratefully recieved. Thanks!
